What Do I Have to Give?
What could I possibly give? Perhaps Mary wondered this when the angel Gabriel appeared and told her she had been chosen to carry the Son of God. The news was overwhelming, yet in her quiet faith, she embraced the divine message with courage and trust.
At a pivotal moment in history, God planted His seed in the life of a humble, unwed young woman from the overlooked streets of Nazareth. God’s ways are far beyond our understanding and human reasoning. As the Scriptures remind us: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord (Isaiah 55:8 NIV). “God looks on the heart, while man looks on the outward appearance” (1 Samuel 16:7). God sees possibility where the world sees limitation.
And just like Mary, you might not always see your own radiance or your special role in God’s plan. Yet, you are the final touch to His masterpiece of creation. From the start, He saw you as the answer to what was missing— a living reflection of beauty, love, and connection. When God breathed life into women, He gave the world tenderness, strength, and joy. Nothing has been the same since because through you, His love completes the story.
